Physical Therapy

At ONE we set a high standard of care.

Your First Visit

Your first physical therapy appointment at One Physical Therapy and Wellness will involve an in-depth evaluation of your injury by a licensed physical therapist. You and your therapist will discuss your history, current functional limitations and goals for treatment. Once we have a clear picture of what is going on it is easier to help you more effectively, so we will ask you a lot of questions about your pain or difficulty and will perform tests and maneuvers to determine the cause of your symptoms. We will also evaluate any limitations you may have in range of motion, strength and function so we can set goals for your recovery. In most cases your first visit will involve some treatment and education in what you can do on your own before your next visit. Each of our physical therapists is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, experienced in Manual Therapy and functional assessment, trained in Pilates and Yoga for Rehabilitation, and skilled in treating many types of orthopedic, neurological and cardiovascular disorders. All physical therapy sessions are one-on-one and 50 minutes in duration.

We accept insurance for physical therapy. Deductibles, Co-pays and Co-insurance vary according to plan coverage — we are happy to find out what your particular plan covers. Your financial responsibility will be discussed with you prior to your first visit.

You will need to fill out some paperwork before we get started. We will email this to you or you can arrive a few minutes early to complete it. You may also fill out our intake forms online here.
