At One Physical Therapy and Wellness the patient is the focus. We set a high standard of care by offering treatment sessions consisting of 50 minutes of one-on-one manual and/or exercise therapy with a licensed physical therapist. Unlike the typical physical therapy environment where multiple patients are seen at once, we don’t use support staff or leave you to do your exercises by yourself. We believe this commitment significantly improves the bond between patient and therapist, and allows for a more individualized and efficient treatment plan that will enable you to get better faster.
Our therapists have a variety of specialties and an extensive list of continuing education courses under their belts. We look at the whole person and work to get to the root of the issue. We even approach our pelvic health patients from a wider lens, incorporating orthopedics and functional assessments so that we can provide the best outcome possible.
We use Pilates as a form of treatment at One because the benefits are numerous. Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on improving muscle strength, core stability, flexibility and posture in order to promote efficient movement. Studies have proven that Pilates can improve body composition, muscular endurance and flexibility. Pilates can also assist in retraining abnormal movement patterns and, thus, can be particularly helpful in patients with low back pain. Pilates a natural fit for physical therapy, and once patients have completed rehabilitation Pilates sessions can help them to maintain their rehabilitation gains and to achieve their total health and wellness goals.

We offer private Pilates sessions and virtual group classes for anyone who wants to improve their strength, flexibility and overall fitness level. Pilates sessions and classes are taught by a certified instructors with special emphasis being placed on form and injury prevention. This creates a superior Pilates studio where you can be sure you will have a safe, effective workout that will help you reach your goals.
